Golf Swing

No matter where you go or who you meet on the golf course you're always going to find someone with a golf swing problem. most people will have this problem at one stage or another, most will seek help to fix it but many will play on hoping the problem will fix itself.

This is the wrong approach, more often than not, you'll not be able to correct a bad swing yourself. Some players will seek their friends advice, this is also the wrong way to go about it, your friends, although wanting to help can also subconsciously sabotage your lesson.

Hard to believe but many of your golf buddies who are better at golf than you will want to remain exactly where they are, its gives them leverage, it makes them feel good, so why would they want to give one of their buddies advice on making them better than them?

Once you've figured out that your buddies on the golf course are really the opposition, then you can deal with the emotional process of getting proper golf instruction. You see, many players get used to coming in second or third & they've being doing it for so long that when the opportunity comes along to change their game, they don't know how to deal with it, they feel guilty if they win all the time. Never think like this, you're playing golf to win, yes, it is really enjoyable to play with your friends but there's no reason why you should come in second or third all the time.

So what the first thing you need to do when you want to improve your game?. Always start with your golf swing. This is the one area of the game that is the downfall of most players. It doesn't matter how good you're at pitching or on the green if you cant hit the ball correctly from the tee. The reason many players fall several shots behind is usually because of a bad swing. If you could improve your golf swing, your game would improve over night.

Do I need professional help to correct my bad swing I hear you ask. Yes & no is the answer to that question. You could go off & get the best golf instructor & pay thousands in fees & become a great player in the process or you could just purchase a golf video that has everything you need. In my view, doing the latter is far better than getting a real live instructor.

The reason for this is, number one, its far less expensive, the average cost of a golf DVD is only forty seven dollars as apposed to an instructor which can cost thousands. Remember, you can watch a video any time, you can also stop, rewind & pause a video which is something you cant do in a live lesson. Many players forget most of what is taught in a lesson with a live instructor but if you have a golf video you can watch it again & again until you get it right. Overall, if you need to improve your golf swing then purchase a good golf video & you'll be guaranteed to improve your game in only a few weeks.
